Avatar Dynasty uses the following communication tools to keep in touch with its members ingame and out of game:

  • Ventrillo
  • Forums
  •  Xfire
As War is Realm vs Realm game and one of the requirements to be successful is a clear line of communication. Ventrillo is compulsory for all members (listen only is available if you do not wish to speak). Members are also required to visit the forums at least twice a week to check for updates and new developments within the guild.

Warchief

Description of the Rank -The Warchief is the designated leader of Avatar Dynasty, they are responsible for the direction of the guild, alliances, and all other aspects of the guild, they are the personification of what AD is, members first, helping others, RvR, PvP, PvE.
Benefits of the Rank - Leader of the Guild
How to Achieve the Rank - Voted in when current leader steps down by the Council, nominations taken from the council.
How to Maintain the Rank - N/A
 

Counselor


Description of the Rank -The Counselors are the ruling council of AD, thie are responsible for keeping the guild on track, maintaining alliances, training up commanders and assisting the Warchief.
Benefits of the Rank - Assist in all major decisions of the Guild, Set MOTD, Modify Guild Info, Alliance Officer Chat, Create Alliance Events.
How to Achieve the Rank - Be nominated and voted in by the Current council (Counselors and Warchief), nominations usually come from the ranks of Chieftain, but a nomination can come from any rank other than Neophyte.
How to Maintain the Rank - See Officer Rules.


Chieftain


Description of the Rank - Chieftains are responsible for the running of the guild, they look after keeping the guild in check, promotions and the everyday running of the guild
Benefits of the Rank - Demote, Promote, Remove member, Alliance Officer Read, Create Guild Events.
How to Achieve the Rank - Have achieved the rank of Commander, have shined in the role of Commander, and there is a Chieftain Spot Available
How to Maintain the Rank - See Officer Rules.


Commander

Description of the Rank - commanders are the first tier of the Officer levels, they are there to assist the members and deal with any issues that arise in the guild, they are the first point of call for all members when there is an issue at hand
Benefits of the Rank - Officer abilities including invite, edit officer notes, officer access on the website, officer forums.
How to Achieve the Rank - Have achieved the rank of Avatar, Lead multiple groups in guild sanctioned events, shown an interest in becoming an officer, set thier guild tithe to X, and be there a commander spot available.
How to Maintain the Rank - See Officer Rules.

Avatar

Description of the Rank - Avatar's are members who wish to help with the organization of AD, they are members who want more of a responsibility style role.
Benefits of the Rank - Access to officer chat listen, officer notes, access to get loans from guild bank, access to officer forums
How to Achieve the Rank - Have achieved the rank of Adept, lead at least one group in a guild sanctioned event, has assisted other players in leveling/achieving goals for the other players benefit.
How to Maintain the Rank - Helping members, puts hand up for leading groups in sanctioned events.


Veteran


Description of the Rank – Veterans are members who have placed AD above all else, they are the cream in RvR, PvP and PvE and as such AD is there to give back to those members.
Benefits of the Rank - Access to Alliance chat full. Access to get loans from the Guild bank, access to the Raid benefits and Rain Tab in the guild bank, the ability to be a guild standard bearer.
How to Achieve the Rank – Have achieved the rank of Adept, achieve at least one medal, Participated in at least 10 events, Participated in at least one alliance event been part of a winning keep raid and a successful Keep defense.
How to Maintain the Rank - Participate in at least 3 guild events a month, be active on the guild forums.


Adept

Description of the Rank -Adepts are members who have been involved in AD and have shown that they are here to be part of AD
Benefits of the Rank - Have the ability to chat in Alliance chat, have access to more of the guild bank, and have priority in number restricted events.
How to Achieve the Rank - To become an Adept you must have done the following - Been a Dynastinian for at least a month, Participated in at least 5 guild events, posted on our guild forums.
How to Maintain the Rank -
As Dynastinian.


Dynastinian

Description of the Rank - Fully fledged members of AD, they are the true spirit of AD
Benefits of the Rank - Gets access to read alliance chat, gets access to all membership aspects of the guild, including membership areas in our website as well as the Member level access to our guild Bank.
How to Achieve the Rank - Pass the Neophyte Probation, Update the roster page with your details, and post in the introduction thread.
How to Maintain the Rank - Participate in at least one guild event a month, log onto vent when in guild events, visit the guild website at least twice a week, keep your profile on the guild website up to date.


Neophyte


Description of the Rank - The Neophyte is a newly fledged AD member
Benefits of the Rank - They are in AD!
How to Achieve the Rank - Fill in an application form on the website, and have it approved by an officer.
How to Maintain the Rank - N/A
Special - This is a probationary period that lasts 2 weeks, during this time they are asked to be involved in the guild and show interest, they are also assigned a Avatar or Commander to assist them, after the two week period the Avatar/Commander in charge of the Neophyte informs the Chieftains of the members eligibility, and then is either promoted or asked to leave if AD is not suitable.

Leadership - Officers and Guild Master

The following is a list of requirements for the Officers and Guild Master:

  • Be Respectful – Not just to guild members but of everyone in game. Remember you represent not only yourself, but Avatar Dynasty.
  • Help - Help out around the guild whenever you can.
  • Communicate - Talk in officer chat, Vent and guild chat, communicating the problems and ideas that you've heard.
  • Knowledgeable - No one knows everything, but you should still be have a good knowledge of the game.
  • Committed – Officers should be committed to the well being and advancement of the Guild.
  • Positive attitude - Officers are expected to have a positive attitude in guild chat and with the Guild Members. Doubts and concerns may be expressed in officer chat or through the correct communication channels (e.g. forums).
  • Officers are role models for the new and younger members of the guild. Officers should act as we would like all Guild Members to act.
  • Abuse of the officers’ powers is not permitted. If you feel an officer is abusing their power, please inform the Guild Master.
